Liberevento – Nando Mura presents “Sardinian sport tells”

On Wednesday 16 July 2025, at 9.30 pm, the rationalist Piazza Venezia in Cortoghiana will host a stage of the Liberevento literary festival with the presentation of Lo sport sardo narrates by the journalist and sports commentator Nando Mura.
The volume traces over seventy years of island exploits – from Gigi Riva’s football to Dinamo Sassari, up to the lesser-known stories of provincial athletes and clubs – weaving together anecdotes, photographs and testimonies collected throughout the island. During the meeting the author will dialogue with the public and read some emblematic passages, accompanied by archive projections that will bring the key moments of Sardinian sport to life.
Entrance is free while places last; the festival stands set up under the arcades will offer copy signing, corners dedicated to sports publishing and tastings of local products. An opportunity to rediscover the collective memory of the island through the passionate voice of one of its most authoritative narrators.
