Feast of the Cross in Bacu Abis: 15th edition in the churchyard of the Church of Santa Barbara

Faith, tradition, taste and community meet in Bacu Abis for one of the most heartfelt events of the summer. Saturday 4 July 2026, in the churchyard of the Church of Santa Barbara V.M. of Bacu Abis, the 15th edition of the Festival of the Cross will be held, organized by the Santa Barbara V.M. Cultural Association. Baku Abis.
The evening will be dedicated to sharing and participation, combining the religious moment with conviviality and entertainment. A special occasion to get together, experience an important tradition for the hamlet and spend an evening full of friendship, good food and joy.

The program will start at 6.00 pm with the Holy Mass and the blessing of the Cross, the central moment of the celebration and symbol of the community’s strong bond with this anniversary.
At 8.00 pm the fish-based dinner will follow, with a rich menu that includes appetizers, Carlofortina pasta, roast sea bream, prawns, water, bread, white wine, dessert, coffee and coffee killer.
During the evening there will be no shortage of entertainment: the event will be animated by the Elledance dance school, of the masters Emanuele Ledda and Silvia Loi, to accompany the public in an atmosphere of celebration and participation. Everything will take place within a setting enriched by the presence of hobbyist stands.
