4th Sagra de is Traballus Antigus in Barbusi: ancient crafts and popular traditions

On Friday 31 July 2026, starting from 8.00 pm, the Piazza della Chiesa di Santa Maria delle Grazie in Barbusi, a hamlet of Carbonia, will host the 4th Sagra de is Traballus Antigus, an evening dedicated to ancient crafts, popular traditions and the memory of the community.
The event will offer the opportunity to rediscover activities, tools and knowledge that have characterized daily life and work in the area for generations. Through demonstrations, re-enactments and meeting moments, the festival will tell the value of artisanal skills and peasant culture, handed down over time and still an important part of the local identity today.

The Sagra de is Traballus Antigus will enliven the square of Barbusi with an atmosphere of celebration, sharing and participation, involving residents and visitors in a journey through history, traditions and Sardinian popular culture.
