da Carbonia<\/strong>. \u00c8 uno dei pi\u00f9 grandi complessi prenuragici della Sardegna meridionale: oltre quaranta domus de janas scavate nella trachite, disposte in un anfiteatro naturale sul colle di Sa Pranedda, spesso con un allineamento che suggerisce un progetto preciso.<\/p><p data-start=\"361\" data-end=\"1025\"><strong>Le tombe variano per forma e complessit\u00e0, dalle pi\u00f9 semplici a quelle pluricellulari, fino a due sepolture monumentali che sembrano avere anche una funzione \u201csacra\u201d.<\/strong> Il sito \u00e8 arricchito da simboli scolpiti come spirali e protomi taurine, con tombe note per la decorazione e i richiami al culto del dio-toro. Utilizzato dal Neolitico finale al Bronzo antico, Montessu testimonia secoli di riti e contatti culturali mediterranei.<\/p><p data-start=\"361\" data-end=\"1025\"><strong>Studiato dagli anni Settanta, conserva reperti nei musei di Cagliari e Santadi ed \u00e8 entrato nel riconoscimento UNESCO nel 2025.<\/strong> L\u2019area comprende anche un parco archeologico con sepolcro megalitico a
