Carta Carbonia 2026: the Literary Festival that lights up the cultural summer of Carbonia

One of the most anticipated cultural events of the summer in Sulcis is back. From 23 to 26 July 2026, the Mirastelle Arena in Carbonia will host a new edition of Carta Carbonia – Literary Festival, four days dedicated to books, authors, ideas and the pleasure of sharing.
After the success of past editions, the festival is preparing to welcome writers, journalists, popularizers, artists and readers from all over Sardinia and from various Italian regions, offering a program full of meetings, presentations, dialogues, workshops, podcasts, musical moments and events designed to involve audiences of all ages.

Carta Carbonia is not just a literary festival, but a space for meeting and discussion in which words become an opportunity for growth, reflection and discovery. A place where stories come to life through the voices of their authors and where culture is transformed into an experience to be lived with all the senses. Between conversations under the stars, cultural aperitifs, activities dedicated to young people and moments of entertainment, the festival confirms its vocation to create connections between people, ideas and territories.
The event is scheduled for 23 to 26 July 2026 at the Mirastelle Arena in Carbonia, for four evenings that will bring the best of fiction, non-fiction, popularization and contemporary culture to the city. An event that enriches the calendar of summer events in Southern Sardinia and which represents an unmissable proposal for those who love books, culture and meetings capable of leaving a mark. A special opportunity to experience Carbonia through words and for those looking for ideas on what to do in Carbonia today.
