DESCRIPTION:On Sunday 20 July 2025\, at 9.00 pm\, the stage of the Teatro Centrale di Carbonia will host the La Clessidra company with the new production “Tutti in scene 2025 – Romeo\, Juliet and the nurse”.\nThe installation rereads the Shakespearean tragedy from the point of view of the exuberant Nurse\, mixing moments of comedy and dramatic intensity: a three-voice story in which the popular wisdom of the female character is intertwined with the passions of the two young lovers. Essential choreography\, contemporary costumes and original music accompany a cast of actors under 35 in a theatrical game that alternates monologues\, flashbacks and improvisations.\nThe show closes the summer festival “Tutti in scene”\, dedicated to new dramaturgy and emerging talents from Sulcis-Iglesiente.

DESCRIPTION:From 12 to 15 September\, starting from 8.30pm\, the lively Rosmarino di Carbonia neighborhood is dressed in lights and devotion for the traditional Feast of the Blessed Virgin of Sorrows: four evenings that intertwine spirituality\, folklore and authentic flavors of Sulcis.\nEvery evening the small local church will welcome the meditated rosary and the solemn mass with sacred songs; afterwards\, the procession with the statue of Our Lady of Sorrows travels along the streets decorated with myrtle arches and lights\, accompanied by the drumming\, traditional costumes and the scent of incense that envelops the procession.\nOnce the rites are over\, the central square is transformed into a party square: \n 	Food stands – Campidanese malloreddus\, sheep in coat\, hot seadas and almond desserts.\n 	Live music – folk groups\, accordion and launeddas alternating with pop cover bands and DJ sets that make tourists and residents dance until late at night.\n 	Artisan market – filigree\, basketry\, ceramics and typical local products.\n 	Children’s area with inflatable rides and artistic bread making workshop. \nThe evening of September 15th\, the culmination of the liturgical celebration\, ends with the concert of sacred music and the pyro-musical show that lights up the sky of Rosmarino\, reflecting the fires on the rationalist facades of Carbonia.\nFree entry and a family atmosphere: the Feast of the Blessed Virgin of Sorrows is an event not to be missed to experience the authentic Sulcian culture\, between faith\, tradition and the warm welcome of the most devout neighborhood of Carbonia.
