DESCRIPTION:The festival of zappueddus and sartizzu arrustu\n  \nZappueddus (or Sappueddus\, also called spizzua and ghetta) are a rustic pasta shape originating from Southern Sardinia\, in particular from the Sulcis-Iglesiente areas. They were born in peasant cuisine: from the leftover dough of durum wheat semolina\, water and salt (sometimes with lard)\, pinch it off and immediately “throw” it into boiling water. \n \nSartizzu arrustu is one of the symbols of Sardinian cuisine. The traditional fresh pork sausage\, flavored with various spices\, is cooked “arrustu”: placed on a low grill\, at close range from burning embers which give it a characteristic scent of Mediterranean woods.\n

During the meeting the author will dialogue with the public and read some emblematic passages\, accompanied by archive projections that will bring the key moments of Sardinian sport to life.\nEntrance is free while places last; the festival stands set up under the arcades will offer copy signing\, corners dedicated to sports publishing and tastings of local products. DESCRIPTION:Friday 11 July 2025\, the “Notti a Monte Sirai” festival welcomes the violinist Anna Tifu and the pianist-composer Romeo Scaccia to the open-air theater of the archaeological area – suspended between the Phoenician-Punic profiles and a sky full of stars – starting at 9.30pm.\nThe program intertwines tango\, jazz and classical: from Vitali’s Chaconne to Piazzolla’s pages\, passing through contemporary homages to Ezio Bosso\, in a wordless dialogue that enhances virtuosity and improvisation\, amplified by the natural acoustics of the cavea carved into the rock.\nThe experience is made unique by the setting: the audience sits on the steps overlooking the Gulf of Sulcis\, surrounded by illuminated nuraghi and the scent of Mediterranean scrub\, while the notes slide past the Phoenician ruins to the sea. An invitation to experience music as a bridge between the millennial past and contemporary sensitivity on one of the most evocative nights of the Sardinian summer.

SUMMARY:Mine Summer Festival - Bebecita concert
DESCRIPTION:On Wednesday 10 July 2025\, at 10pm\, the Mine Summer Festival brings its energy to the heart of Carbonia: the amphitheater in Piazza Marmilla will become an open-air Latin dance floor with the overwhelming “Bebecita Latin Show”. \nDJs\, dancers and performers will take to the stage guided by the format that is setting the island’s beach clubs on fire: a continuous flow of reggaeton\, urban and remixed trap hits\, accompanied by fluorescent choreographies\, visuals and moments of animation that transform the audience into part of the show.\nThe setting is the circular amphitheater of Piazza Marmilla: stone steps close to the greenery\, perfect for enjoying the show under the stars of Sulcis with the natural acoustics of the auditorium. In recent years the square has established itself as the city’s new summer hub\, capable of hosting orchestras\, festivals and crowded dance evenings.
