DESCRIPTION:From 24 to 27 July 2025\, starting from 7pm\, the Mirastelle Arena in Carbonia hosts the fourth edition of “Carta Carbonia – Literary Festival”: four evenings of meetings with authors\, readings and music that transform the garden of Piazza Roma into an open-air lounge dedicated to books. \nThe program includes presentations of fiction and non-fiction related to the Mediterranean\, writing workshops for children\, copy signing under the stars and a “sound curtain” space in which singer-songwriters guide the audience through words and notes. \nAmong the new features this year\, an independent publishing market and the “white night of the story” – reading marathon from sunset to midnight. Free entry\, relaxed atmosphere and the coolness of the Arena’s trees to experience four days of shared stories in the heart of Sulcis.\nThe program for July 24th:\n7.30pm – Francesca Spanu – The wrong body (Il Maestrale) – the author talks with Giovanni Follesa. \n8.30pm – Piergiorgio Pulixi – If cats could talk (Marsilio) – the author talks with Francesca Spanu. \n9.30pm – TREES – Everything you wanted to know but never dared to ask. SUMMARY:Wise dance show - Batuca Dance - Alice in Wonderland
DESCRIPTION:Thursday 24 July 2025\, at 9.30pm\, Piazza Marmilla becomes an open-air stage for the dance performance “Alice in Wonderland” by Batuca Dance. \nFrom the youngest students to advanced groups\, over seventy dancers will guide the audience on a lively choreographic journey between the White Rabbit\, the Mad Hatter and the Queen of Hearts\, mixing modern\, hip-hop\, classical and “batuca” rhythms of Latin-African inspiration. \nFlamboyant costumes\, digital projections and plays of light will transform the square-amphitheatre into a dream world under the stars. Free admission; limited places on the steps\, so it is advisable to arrive a little early and enjoy the sunset before the trapdoor opens towards Alice’s wonders.
