SARDINIA towards UNESCO – Nuraghi. The photographic shot that manages to make beauty speak

March 24 -dalle-5:30 pm

Tuesday 24 March, from 5.30 pm, the Sotacarbo Conference Room, at the Great Mine of Serbariu in Carbonia, hosts a new appointment in the series “Sardinia towards UNESCO, Nuragic Dialogues”, a free-to-participation cultural initiative dedicated to the valorisation of the Nuragic heritage and its promotion from an international perspective.

The theme of the meeting, “Nuraghi. The photographic shot that manages to make beauty speak”, places at the center the relationship between image, identity and story of the territory, proposing a reflection on the power of photography as a tool capable of interpreting, communicating and making the aesthetic and cultural value of the nuraghi immediately perceivable.

Leading the dialogue will be Paolo Pitzurra, member of the Association for Social Promotion (APS) “Sardinia towards UNESCO”, together with Bibi Pinna and Alessandra Cossu, photographers engaged in a discussion that combines artistic sensitivity, observation of the landscape and valorization of the Sardinian historical heritage.
The meeting is part of a dissemination process that aims to bring out new keys to understanding the Nuragic world, showing how photography can also become an effective language for describing the beauty, memory and uniqueness of Sardinia.
