Carta Carbonia – Literary Festival
From 24 to 27 July 2025, starting from 7pm, the Mirastelle Arena in Carbonia hosts the fourth edition of “Carta Carbonia – Literary Festival”: four evenings of meetings with authors, readings and music that transform the garden of Piazza Roma into an open-air lounge dedicated to books.
The program includes presentations of fiction and non-fiction related to the Mediterranean, writing workshops for children, copy signing under the stars and a “sound curtain” space in which singer-songwriters guide the audience through words and notes.
Among the new features this year, an independent publishing market and the “white night of the story” – reading marathon from sunset to midnight. Free entry, relaxed atmosphere and the coolness of the Arena’s trees to experience four days of shared stories in the heart of Sulcis.
The program for July 25th:
7.30pm – Barbara Serra – Fascism in the family (Garzanti) – the author talks with Franca Rita Porcu.
8.30pm – Marco Varvello – London, the places of power (Solferino) – the author talks with Andrea Fulgheri.
9.30pm – And I’ll come to look for you – Theatrical show by and with Andrea Scanzi and Gianluca Di Febo.
10.30pm – Versus – Claudia Aru sings Sergio Atzeni. Claudia Aru (vocals) and Simone Sassu (piano).
